Musica Viva — Tasmania Campaigns

Musica Viva Tasmania presents world class chamber music performers six times a year at the Hobart Town Hall. Annual campaigns celebrate this sublime performance space and the passion in the music.

‘Musica Viva’ translates literally as ‘Music Live’. In 1945, when the national organisation began performing live chamber music concerts in Australia, the practice was still quite unusual. Fast forward to 2015 and the campaign message ‘Viva’ translates into ‘Long live’ in celebration of live performances by international and local musicians.

An abstract sound wave graphic creates attention against a backdrop of captivating photography of the Town Hall’s lavishly adorned and acoustically renowned interiors. Campaigns further celebrate the history of the Town Hall from post war celebrations to performances by Australia’s greatest opera singers.

The season brochure is printed in a generous broadsheet format, increasing impact while inviting a leisurely read. Large scale printed posters feature around Hobart promoting individual concerts to prospective audiences.

The responsive design website details the year's program and facilitates online subscriptions. A Silver Stripe content management system provides autonomy over content for updating by Musica Viva’s dedicated team.
