Pixel is a square carpet tile available in two textures — SHIFT and STATIC — in a kaleidoscopic range of colours. Envelope’s retro-inspired campaign captures the notion of ’play’ with pixelated 80s video game graphics.
Architects and interior designers are invited to use the tiles to create abstract patterns and low resolution bitmap imagery. A hand icon graphic from early computer GUI interfaces, is a visual metaphor for the interactivity of the tiles.
Cate Rayson’s quirky copy further beckons creatives to let their imaginations go wild. Above all they are encouraged to play with the product. Envelope brings in Gary Moore and the team at Miss Bossy Boots to photograph environments that add another dimension to a campaign with a deliberately geometric aesthetic.
The campaign includes a comprehensive printed catalogue and bespoke carpet tile samples box. Even Signature’s sales team are encourage to play with a customisable digital presentation.
Important product characteristics such as colour, flexibility and agility of installation — together with Signature’s renowned stock levels — are key themes of the colourful campaign.
