A custom designed wordmark embodies both classicism and modernity — both qualities of this bespoke manufacturer. Over its 50 year lifespan Rakumba’s factory surfaces display patinas unique to a range of artisan processes. Envelope uses these textures as abstract visual backgrounds for Rakumba’s product photography.

Andrew Curtis photography documents factory and workshop workers celebrating their artisan skills. Used in communications the images help tell the unique story of a commercial factory with an artisan culture.

Envelope’s flexible digital design templates facilitate efficient production by Rakumba’s in-house team. Timeframes and costs are reduced for this small family business.
