Implemented over a five year collaboration, Envelope‘s accessible and future-proofed wayfinding strategy helped Mayflower to guide their residents and guests around a much expanded campus.
Detailed research on the Mayflower voyage and arrival provides the basis for the visual narrative used across the wayfinding system.
Existing brand identity guidelines including typeface and colours inform the design of an integrated system of sign types for specific locations throughout the facility.
Particular attention is given to legibility for elderly residents. Concepts are tested and used to develop detailed cost estimates for fabrication and installation.
Executed in three stages, Envelope’s scope includes design, production management and installation scheduling and delivery.
