Graham Leggat

Graham is particularly interested in typography, brand identities, editorial design and the future of digital design.

Joining Envelope’s Melbourne studio in 2014, Graham is now designing from a base in Scotland, for local and international clients.

Following a successful internship with the Australian design studio Envelope Group, Graham secured a full-time role, working closely with the creative director Ty Bukewitsch. Over a two year period, Graham established himself as the studio’s principle digital designer, developing websites for a range of clients.
Graham returned to Scotland to further his design education at Edinburgh Napier University. Over the four-year Graphic Design course, Graham has experimented in new design areas and disciplines, including motion graphics — as well as honing his skills in typography, art-direction and branding.
A half-year exchange with Aalto University in Helsinki provided the opportunity to experiment with traditional analogue processes, such as screen-printing and letter-press, as well as with cutting edge creative coding technologies. During the exchange he also undertook a brand management course which delved into the strategic aspects of building brands today.
