Over three decades in the making, this highly regarded festival welcomes visitors from far and wide. Travellers love it but some locals still need convincing.
Everyone is welcome. Knowledge of music is not required. “Come find yourself” is an invitation extended to travellers and locals alike. They are encouraged to be immersed in music, enjoy life’s delights and form lasting friendships—all while feeling the warm embrace of spring. Creating an army of flag-bearers from residents of Port Fairy helps build pride in an event that takes over their town.
Shearwaters returning to Port Fairy for millennia, inspire a new symbol encapsulating the rhythm of flight, sheet music and the fluttering of flags in a warm, coastal breeze.
Port Fairy is where soaring cliffs, pristine beaches and crystal clean rivers meet the sea. These landscapes are postcards in an alluring story of discovery, drawing travellers from far and wide.
The all important website is the centre of the Festival’s world. We built a new one from scratch, integrating it with existing ticketing infrastructure for a seamless experience. Beyond the Festival’s months long season, a new archive grows, fostering interest all year round.
The final piece of the puzzle is the socials. Beyond individual program posting the campaign promotes the music, the place, the natural environment and the pleasures of life.
